There is so much need in Sierra Leone that the WellFound team has continued working, where possible, during the rainy season. One village which the team visited recently is Kpeteworma, in the Moyamba district of Sierra Leone.

Between November 2022 and August 2023, WellFound participated in the US Ambassador’s Special-Help Programme to tackle Guinea-Bissau’s widespread issues with water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).

In October 2020, WellFound began a project to help five villages in Guinea Bissau whose water sources were streams and shallow wells more than half a kilometre away from the centre of the villages.

These markers represent almost 54,000 people who now have access to clean water and the opportunity to transform their lives.
