Dear friends and supporters of WellFound,

I am writing with sad news.

Howard Measham, our founder and source of inspiration for WellFound, has passed away.

‍Howard founded WellFound in 2005. Since then, thanks to his passion and encouragement, we have brought clean water and a chance for a new start to over 160,000 people. Whole families have been given the opportunity for a more nutritious and healthy diet. Women have been empowered to take part in decision making and given the chance to earn money for themselves and their families and to allow them to  have a better life thanks to Howard’s vision and his energy to carry it through.

Those of us who knew Howard well will understandably be sad. We will miss Howard very much. He kept working, giving advice and guidance, well into his 90’s. We can take encouragement from the fact that he was a committed Christian. His faith shone through every day in what he said. We know that he is now safely with his Lord and Heavenly Father.

The remaining trustees and staff of WellFound are committed to carrying on with Howard’s good work. WellFound will continue on the route which Howard set and we are sure it will prosper in his memory.On behalf of WellFound we all send our love and best wishes to Mary, Hayden, Jane and all of Howard’s extended family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  David HorncastleTrustee.
