This year, WellFound is thrilled to launch our Big Give 2024 Campaign again, yet another opportunity to transform lives in some of the most vulnerable rural communities in Sierra Leone. With your support, we aim to achieve our target of £12,000.
 
Where do I make my donation?
To be matched, donations must be made via the 

Big Give Christmas Challenge website here. 

This will enable three communities that are facing immense challenges to build brighter futures. The funding will empower them with the tools, resources, and skills to thrive. Every eligible donation you give will be doubled through match funding, amplifying your impact and helping us reach even more families in need.

You will only be able to donate here between midday on Tuesday, 3 December 2024, to midday on Tuesday 10 December 2024.
 
When is the Big Give Christmas Challenge this year?
The 2024 Big Give Christmas Challenge runs from midday on Tuesday 3 December to midday on Tuesday 10 December. 
 
Only donations made during this timeframe are eligible to be doubled from the match funding pot.
 
What methods can I use to make my donation?
Credit/Debit Cards:
Big Give's payment processor is Stripe, and they require donations to be made online using a debit/credit card or Apple Pay or Google Pay. The following card types are accepted: Mastercard / Visa / Maestro / Switch / Solo / Delta / American Express.
 
BACS payment:
This year, Big Give can also receive donations through BACS payment. However, you may want to set up your account prior to the campaign. The details can be found by following the link : https://biggive.org/donation-funds/
 
Can I Gift Aid my donation?
Yes, if you are a UK taxpayer and your donation qualifies for Gift Aid you will be able to select this during the donation process.
 
What will show up on my bank statement?
You will see “The Big Give/ Measham Family” on your bank statement.

Why does the Big  Give page say donations go to the Measham Family Christian Foundation?
The Measham Family Christian Foundation is the formal name of the charity created by Howard Measham and registered with the Charity Commission. Our working name is WellFound. By giving to the Measham Family Christian Foundation you are giving to WellFound.
 
How is my donation doubled?
We have lined up a match funding pot of £6,000, provided by some of our major donors and charitable trust supporters. Every donation made will be doubled from this pot until it runs out – achieving our target of £12,000!
 
What happens if I donate after the match funding pot has run out?
You can still donate, even if the match funding pot has run out. We would encourage you to do so – even though your donation won’t be doubled, it will still add to the total raised and support our work in Sierra Leone. And if we exceed our target we become eligible for an additional cash award from the Big Give Christmas Challenge!
 
How will my donation be used?
Your donation will support three communities in Sierra Leone with access to water, agriculture and nutrition to further support their economic progress. This will support over 2000 people.
