22nd March is World Water Day.

Around the world, individuals and organisations will be marking this, and WellFound is pleased to play our part.

Today our founder Howard, our Patron Mary Perner, and one of our trustees Gill Shaw are travelling out to Guinea-Bissau.

Gill, who works as an international photographer, will be bringing back a photographic record of life in Guinea-Bissau. Our experience is that clean drinking water has a transforming effect on almost all aspects of the quality of life of people living in remote, rural villages. Gill’s record will show life “before” and “after” the provision of water and we plan to use that back in the UK later in the year to further raise awareness of what all of us can do to help.
