One of the objectives of the recent trip to Guinea-Bissau was to select new villages where we will work in partnership with the villagers for the first time this year.
As you might imagine this is a very difficult task as there is so much need.
This is a village on the island of Caravela where the local people have tried to dig their own wells by hand. Gill Shaw takes up the story…

When WellFound starts work here we will dig or drill quality wells to a sufficient depth to provide clean drinking water all year round. And as we have seen in other villages, that will be transformational for the lives of the people here.
