Fundraising  Volunteer Coordinator:

Salary: £17,000 – £20,000 per annum depending on experience (pro rata)

Hours: 14 hours per week (Mondays with the rest of the week flexible)

Location: Greenford Offices, Middlesex with occasional remote working possible

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser and volunteer coordinator, who will grow the income and profile of WellFound. You’ll develop a fundraising plan and recruit and manage volunteers to undertake fundraising activities and meet key objectives.

You’ll be creative, enthusiastic and well organised and will oversee volunteers and the projects they are responsible for. You’ll have good volunteer management experience, strong interpersonal skills and plenty of creativity for fundraising ideas.

As well as the satisfaction of changing peoples’ lives, we offer flexible working hours, 28 days annual leave (pro-rata), and will support your learning and development. A performance based reward will also be considered.

Volunteering and Internship:
Currently we are looking for volunteers for the following roles:

Event Volunteer
We need an Events Volunteer to help us out at a range of fundraising and publicity generating events, such as local fun days, supermarket bag packing and carnivals. We are looking for someone who is confident, well organised and enthusiastic. This would be a great opportunity for you if you are looking to get into the event industry or the third sector. You will need to be able to work evening and weekends when required.
Expenses: Travel (as agreed) and food expenses (up to £5 per day)

Other Roles:
If you have some time to spare you can use it to help WellFound! Help at events, speak to your local group or help us with some fundraising! We also have opportunities available for office based volunteering such as marketing, event planning or admin roles.

As a Volunteer you will learn new skills, meet new people and make friends, discover new interests and overall, make a real difference to those who are in poverty.

Fundraise
There are so many interesting and fun ways to fundraise for WellFound! From bake sales, to coffee mornings, even hosting a concert, our supporters have shown great imagination when raising money for us! Below are some great and easy ideas for how to begin fundraising!

  • Hold a quiz night
  • Organise a raffle
  • Host a bake sale at your work place or school
  • Take part in a sponsored event such as a bike ride or fun run
  • Wear fancy dress to work
  • Run a sports tournament

Spread the word!
Are you part of a local group, a school or faith group? If so, why not become a WellFound champion and help us spread the word and end water poverty?

This is a great flexible way to support WellFound and won’t cost you a penny! You can organise your own events to tell people about our work or you could book a speaker from WellFound to come and share with your group. Alternatively you can use our free resources in your classroom or group.
